Where we are
The Club is located between Tranent and Prestonpans on the Tranent side of the railway line. Its a fairly straightforward place to find - those coming from Edinburgh or anywhere further west or north of there, need to get on to the Edinburgh City bypass (A720) and follow the signs for Berwick.
At Musselburgh, the A720 joins the A1 still heading for Berwick. After the first ramp for Tranent, take the second exit (Tranent, North Berwick) and stay in the right hand lane.
At the roundabout, take the second exit and at the next roundabout take the first exit. Take the first turn left and then right immediately after crossing the bridge. Go almost to the end of this road and turn right into the carpark - you've arrived.
The New Season.
As the outdoor season draws to a close it is time to announce the opening dates and times for the new indoor season. The Club will open from 10-12 and 6.30-8.30 on Monday 13th September, these opening times will continue until Friday 17th September to allow you to pay your membership fees and have a practice. Practice games during these dates will cost £1. The Club will be closed on the 18th and 19th then will open full time on Monday 20th September.
The new leagues are in the process of being drawn up so if you haven’t filled in your entry forms from last season or would like to enter a new league please fill in an entry form via the link to the right of this article. The same goes for any new members who wish to enter the leagues.
In particular we are looking for one new rink to complete the Evening Mixed league, two teams for the Friday Afternoon Taylor Mixed Triples which is suitable for Youths as it’s played at 2 pm in the afternoon. We are also looking for two teams for the Saturday Morning Triples which is made up of teams consisting of two triples which can include non members, so if your club would like to enter please get in touch.
The Top Four will begin on Monday 20th September and it is envisaged that the Evening Leagues will begin on 30th September. The Morning and Ladies leagues may well begin the week beginning 20th September, keep an eye on the Competitions page. If you wish to enter the Top Four (Two Pairs) please contact the Match Secretary as soon as possible.
