Busy weekend for ELIBC.
This weekend is a busy one for the club starting on Friday when we play host to representatives from other clubs throughout Scotland as part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations. President Bob McIntosh will share an afternoon of bowls with our guests, his management committee and invited members who have donated much of their spare time to help the club. Play gets underway at 1pm and we hope everyone has a good day.
On Saturday the club plays host to the Gents Scottish Cup derby clash between Borders clubs Teviotdale and Tweedbank and on Sunday hosts the Scottish Team Championship tie between Tweedbank and Balbardie, both games start at 2pm.
The Ladies team are off to Coatbridge tomorrow for the semi final promotion play off against Paisley whilst the Gents team travel to Falkirk to tackle Clydebank in the Scottish Cup and the Youth team go to West Lothian hoping to consolidate their place at the top of the table. On Sunday the Mixed team take on Bainfield at Midlothian in the second round of the Scottish Team Championship.
