Finals Week night 4
A new name will be on the Gents Singles Winners board as Dougie Berwick produced a dazzling display to beat three times champion Graham Robertson 21-11. Dougie was in great form to race into a 10-0 lead before Graham got on the card, the lead was then stretched to 15-2 before Dougie traded on that lead to run out a convincing 21-11 winner. On his way to becoming East Lothian Champion Dougie accounted for Colin Cook, Alan Young, John McCrorie, Willie Wood, Mark Johnston and Graham Robertson - a tough route in anyone's language.
In the Gents Two Bowl Pairs final Mark Johnston and Willie Wood beat Andy Jeffrey and Scott Kennedy 2-0 and in the Ladies Two Bowl Pairs Emma Brown and Janet Fairnie beat Dee and Kim Hoggan 2-0. Stewart Johnston and Kieran Simmants beat Fiona Scott and Daniel Peart in the Youth Pairs whilst Norma Bauld, Willie Sinclair and John Holmes beat Kathy Bain, Jock Cunningham and John Hamilton by 1 shot to win the Taylor Triples which is kindly sponsored by Taylor Bowls.
